STUDENT CANCELLATION POLICY
For Public Classes:
If a student cancels at least one week before the class or event start time, they are eligible for a refund (minus a 6% processing fee) or a credit (100% of the purchase price) towards another Teaching Table class or event.
Students cannot receive a refund or reschedule their class within one week of the scheduled session. However, you may transfer your tickets to another individual.
No-shows will not be refunded. Canceling or rescheduling after the cutoff date, withdrawing, or failing to attend will result in the forfeiture of the entire class or event fee.
With the teacher's approval, a student may send someone else to participate and/or receive class materials.
For virtual classes, you will receive a recording of the class and digital materials to take the class at your convenience. Most, but not all, virtual classes are recorded. Please confirm in advance if you will be relying on the recording.
If you purchased your class on CourseHorse or Class Bento, our cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you need help canceling or have any questions, please contact us.
For Private Events or Classes:
We do not issue refunds or allow rescheduling within 2 weeks of your scheduled event. This policy also applies to bookings made with gift certificates.
If you cancel or reschedule 14 or more days before the class/event starts, you are eligible for a full cash refund (minus a 6% processing fee) or credit equal to 100% of the purchase price towards another Teaching Table class/event.
If you cancel or reschedule 8 to 13 days before the scheduled class/event, you will be responsible for the initial deposit and the cost of any ingredients or materials purchased.
If you cancel or reschedule within 7 days of the scheduled class/event, you will be responsible for the full contracted amount of the private class/event.
For private events (both in-person and virtual), you must confirm your headcount 7 days before the start of the event. We cannot issue refunds for no-shows or cancellations from your party. If you would like to add additional participants to your event, please inquire. In most cases and with enough notice, we can accommodate a few extra participants.
Thank you for your understanding and adherence to our cancellation policy. Teaching Table is a small operation with limited class sizes, making it extremely difficult for us to absorb the costs of last-minute changes. Typically, we begin preparing for our classes based on the number of people registered, which includes planning the lesson, securing all necessary ingredients, and preparing materials. Additionally, we have reserved a spot specifically for you!
TEACHING TABLE CANCELLATION POLICY
Teaching Table reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event or class due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances that would make the event or class non-viable. Public class participants will be notified via email and may elect to receive a full refund, a class credit, or admission to another class, pending availability. Private event purchasers will be notified via email and/or phone and be given the opportunity to reschedule at the next available date of their choice. Except in the case of emergency or unsafe weather, Teaching Table will not cancel/reschedule a kids’ program with less than one week's notice.
