  • Teaching Table 475 Sterling Place Brooklyn, NY, 11238 United States (map)

Are you experiencing difficulty finding your usual groceries? Perhaps you're used to eating out and need to expand your repertoire pronto? Or you are joining me in the stay home, don't shop challenge? Either way, you might benefit from some Cook with What You Have Strategies right about now. Or perhaps when this all blows over, you will realize you stocked up way too much and need to start eating all that excess food. Join us for an AT HOME edition of Teaching Table’s Cooking with What You Have cooking class. Anyone can join. From anywhere!

It’s VIRTUAL. Part discussion, part demo, 100% inspiration, 0% tasting :(

Multiple dates available - scroll down for selections.

You'll learn - and discuss live - tips for organizing your fridge, freezer and pantry and utilizing these strategies for using what you have at home. You'll practice getting creative with vegetables from root to tip, understand how to substitute ingredients freely, and plan for using up "leftovers" before they go bad. This class will train you to slash your food waste (and grocery expenses) in half and inspire you to make more flavorful & original dishes. And while you watch, I’ll whip up a dish with audience suggested ingredients, and walk you through my thought process.
