Junior Chef Workshop: Lunar New Year

  • Teaching Table 12 Noel Drive Ossining USA (map)

Chances are your kids have sampled (and probably gobbled up) some Asian favorites, but do you know how to make them? Participants learn how to mix up fillings from vegetarian to pork and chive, make dumpling dough, fill wrappers, and fold them into at least 3 different shapes. They will also bake up personalized fortune cookies.

Tradition has it that what we eat during Lunar New Year can determine our good fortune for the whole year to come. So, bring on the good luck and prosperity — join us for a dumplings and fortunes workshop.
