Does quarantine have you craving the kind of food you can only find at fairs or sporting events? Giant soft pretzels are fun for bakers of all ages to make and delicious for everyone in the family to enjoy. This all ages class geared towards families will get all hands on deck! And psst, even if you don’t have kids in your home, you can 100% join us. I won’t tell.
You will bake one dozen Soft Honey Wheat Pretzels from scratch. First, we will explore the microscopic world of yeast, watching it come to life in front of our very eyes. While waiting for our dough to rise, we will whip up a few dipping sauces of your choice, depending on what you have on hand. Options include yummy dippers like honey mustard, cinnamon chocolate drizzle, pepper jack cheese sauce and chive and horseradish dip. Then we will roll and shape pretzels and practice the proper baking method.
