When I stroll the aisles of Trader Joe’s lured by the trendy flavor combinations, creative names and convenience, I also think about how easy it is to make so many of these items ourselves. I already make most of these packaged foods from scratch and have developed shortcuts to enjoying the scratch made version even quicker!
In this class, we will tackle your favorite Trader Joe’s addictions, from spreads and condiments to heat and eat meals and finally to treats. You will learn how the flavors are stronger and the textures more natural, when we use our own quality ingredients, and how to replicate the convenience factor with a few practical steps. Learn how to make and store meal kits and recipe components.
