In this final session of our at home Summer Wrapped and Rolled Food series for kids, we are assembling everyone’s favorite. Dumplings — two different kinds of homemade filling wrapped into store bought or hand made wrappers, your choice!
Targeted towards kids ages 4-14 with varying degrees of support from adults. Teaching Table will walk you through how to assist and empower your children in the kitchen. Everyone is welcome.
Menu: Vegetable or Pork and Chive Dumplings (your choice)
Notes to parents:
All recipes are customizable to special diets and to make with readily available ingredients. Teaching Table will support you through substitutions.
Workshops meet for 90 minutes from 3:00-4:30 pm so that foods can be prepared for Monday night dinner!
Workshops are live virtual lessons on Google meets. Link is provided upon completed registration and receipt of payment.
Session recordings will be made available to all registered students.
You will receive all recipes and a list of suggested ingredients and materials one week in advance of the class.
Curriculum is appropriate for kids ages 4-14 years old, with appropriate support provided by adults in the home and Teaching Table.
Classes require some advanced prep and final cooking steps by parents (or older students). All instructions will be provided.
The price is per email address. All household members, including siblings, can participate for one low price of $30 per session.
