Every home cook should know how to cook eggs in a few different ways. In this technical class, you will gain an understanding of eggs and their composition. You will learn tips for selecting, storing and using eggs. With guidance, practice how to prepare them the 8 basic ways:
Soft boiled
Hard boiled
Poached
Fried: sunny side up
Over easy, medium or hard
Scrambled
Omelette
Baked or shirred
Of course, we will include recipe ideas and serving suggestions and give a nod to the many other glorious ways we celebrate eggs, like in custards, souffles, frittata, quiche, mayonnaise, crepes and cookies. So grab a dozen plus your omelette fixings, English muffins or bagels and some bacon and join us for a lunch and learn session.
